Resin is the very essence of time, changing from liquid to solid. This resin artist captures this change in his artwork. His creations do not end with intuition alone. He controls each process, from color matching, degassing, pouring, hardening, and polishing, using numerical values and experience to design the desired transparency and depth of layers. At the same time, he does not deny the coincidences that arise from slight fluctuations in hardening or the way light bends.
This is because he believes that the expression of his artworks resides in the boundary between control and chance. The brand name "626" symbolizes the "fluctuation" that arises between order and disorder, between artificial and natural. The completed works give different impressions depending on the viewing angle, lighting, and distance, and new contours emerge as the viewer moves. Although they are still images, the experience is dynamic.
626’s works are completed the moment they are placed in a space, where they receive light, cast shadows, and remain in the viewer's memory. This entire process is designed into the artwork.
